Account Deletion Request
This page explains how Dash users can request deletion of their account and related personal data.
To request account deletion, please email us from an address you can access and include the phone number registered with your Dash account. We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request.
1. Information to include
Please include the following information in your request:
- The phone number used to register or sign in to Dash.
- Your display name in the app, if available.
- A clear statement that you want your Dash account deleted.
Do not send passwords, OTP codes, payment card details, or sensitive identity documents by email unless we specifically request additional verification through an official support channel.
2. How we process requests
- You send an account deletion request to Dash support.
- We review the request and verify the related account.
- If the request is valid, we delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required to provide the service.
- We reply with the result by email or another appropriate contact channel.
3. Data deleted or anonymized
After verification, Dash will delete or anonymize data such as:
- Account profile details, including display name and phone number.
- Saved addresses linked to the account.
- Active session tokens and authentication data.
- Personal data in feedback, support requests, or contact records that is no longer needed.
4. Data we may retain
Some data may be retained for a limited period if required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or order processing purposes. This may include:
- Completed order history or records tied to payment obligations.
- Receipts, transaction records, or accounting information.
- Security and abuse-prevention logs with restricted access.
When this data is no longer needed for those purposes, it will be deleted, anonymized, or stored in a form that no longer directly identifies the user.
5. Processing time
We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days. Some requests may take longer if they are complex, involve an active order, involve a dispute, or if applicable law requires us to retain certain records for a longer period.
6. Before you delete your account
Account deletion may prevent you from accessing order history, saved addresses, support status, and other account-related data. If you only need to update your name, phone number, or address, please use the app settings instead of requesting account deletion.
